Overview

Project Maui explored a new delivery model and target market for analytical tools; built for business users, and delivered on the cloud. 

SAP's Business Intelligence products were exclusively On-Premise software (purchased and installed locally). SAP was exploring a subscription-based model (software as a service), which has the benefits of lower TCO compared to the traditional method of delivery, management, and maintenance. 

My role was to research and explore the business users' needs for analytic tools. From this research, proof of concepts that would allow information workers to find, compile, and share information were created. 

This work informed and was integrated into StreamWork.
